Ororo Munroe is a member of the Avengers.
History[]
Ororo Munroe, also known as Storm, is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesses, all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Born Ororo Munroe, her mother, N'Daré, was the princess of a tribe in Kenya, who married the American photojournalist, David Munroe, and moved with him to Manhattan, where Ororo was born.
When Ororo was six months old, she and her parents moved to Cairo, Egypt and, at the age of five, a plane crash destroyed their home. Ororo's parents were killed, but she survived, buried under rubble near her mother's body. This traumatizing effect left Ororo with the severe claustrophobia that still afflicts her today.
Out on the Town[]
She quietly listened as Shadowcat pleaded her case to try for a normal life. She wished her luck on her way out to find her first job. While Kitty was away, she would hear a noise in the attic. She would find Lockheed there in bad shape.
First Day on the Job[]
Storm consoled Kitty when she saw the state Lockheed was in. When Kitty went to leave for her first day of work, she left Lockheed in Storm's care.
Sins of the Father[]
She came to check up on Kitty in the infirmary, but she wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone.
Divided Destiny[]
Members of the X-Men gathered after surviving an ordeal involving Bastion. During this gathering Cyclops brought up his thoughts on the future concerning mutantkind and the X-Men. His belief in rounding up evil mutants were instantly turned down by Professor X and Storm. Ororo decides to stay with the Professor when Scott announces he's leaving to follow his own dream.
