Kitty Pryde is a member of the X-Men.

History[]

Kitty Pryde was leading the normal life of a extremely gifted thirteen year old girl in Deerfield, Illinois when she began suffering increasingly intense headaches. The headaches were a result of Kitty's mutant power emerging. Kitty possesses the ability to pass through solid matter.

Professor Charles Xavier located Kitty and set to recruit her for his school and possibly as a new member of his X-Men. The Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club also learned about Kitty, and its White Queen, Emma Frost, went to invite Kitty to her Massachusetts Academy.

Out on the Town[]

Kitty was arguing with Nightcrawler about her leaving the mansion to try and set up a normal life while still being X-Man during bad times. She nervously went out to find her first job. After some failed attempts, she came across an electronics store where just as she went to apply for the job was attacked by the Friends of Humanity. She was able to defeat the men without any harm coming to the workers.

First Day on the Job[]

She returned to the Xavier Institute to find Lockheed badly injured in what was left of the X-Men's infirmary. She left Lockheed in Storm's care when she left for her first day of work. She is introduced to her new co-workers and has lunch with them. She would later in the day pose as someone wanting to join the Friends of Humanity to find out who attacked her. To her surprise, she would it to be her father.

Sins of the Father[]

Kitty fought through the mob of Friends of Humanity to get to her father. She fought her hardest but was ultimately overwhelmed. Colossus showed to help her, but in the process her father got away. She coldly struck him for getting involved. She finally returned home and went to check up on Lockheed. This was when the events of the day finally hit her and she broke down over her sleeping dragon.

Divided Destiny[]

Members of the X-Men gathered after surviving an ordeal involving Bastion. During this gathering Cyclops brought up his thoughts on the future concerning mutantkind and the X-Men. His belief in rounding up evil mutants were instantly turned down by Professor X and Storm. Kitty waited to see what Peter would do before officially siding with Scott and his dream that was different from the Professor's.

Where Lightning Strikes...[]

She joined the X-Men who went to stop a hostage situation. She was able to save the child being held in the managers office. This allowed the other X-Men to take down the other criminals involved with no worries.

Roar of Thunder[]

She went along with the X-Men when they went after the Thunderbolts who were being blamed for the destruction of a small Colorado town. She would fight against Songbird who she kicked down.
