Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Superhuman Strength: Avispa can lift 10 tons.
  • Superhuman Speed: Avispa can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. He is ultimately capable of running at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour .
  • Superhuman Stamina: Avispa's advanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him.
  • Superhuman Agility: Avispa's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Avispa is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Avispa's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 10 times greater than those of an ordinary human.
  • Wall-Crawling: He has the ability to cling to walls at will, thanks to the wasp and ant hunters.
  • Pyrokinesis: Because he is born into an Ant Council bloodline he is able to conjure fire at will (other Ant Council members can manipulate their sizes rather than cast fire like Hormiga)
  • Flight: He can fly when in possession of the wasp hunter, when not having the hunter he must stick to wall-crawling.
  • Exoskeleton: He can summon an orange or red exoskeleton carapace depending on which hunter he is possessed by that emanates from the tattoo on his upper arm or back; he can control the thickness, coverage, and shape of the carapace. At its thickest, it is resistant to small firearms. However, when using full armor, contact with water leaves him unable to breathe, forcing him to retract it.
